The NCAA DIII Softball championship has been contested since 1982 and some teams just always seem to be there.

Central (IA) leads the pack with 33 appearances, winning four championships along the way. Ithaca and Rowan round out the podium places with 31 appearances each, with the Bombers capturing one title.
