Weighted Performance Index (WPI) is a team statistic that utilizes wOBA for offense and FIP for pitching to get a full picture of team performance.

WPI is scaled to look similar to win percentage, so teams that are above .500 are “winning” teams and those closer to 1.000 are championship level teams.
